Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on November 22, 1985 New York City New York) has received acclaim for her ability to act across different genres ranging from period dramas to thrillers to action adventures. Johansson has a father who is a filmmaker and an architect. The family is from New York City. Her twin brother Hunter and she were her youngest siblings. Her interest began in acting at an early age and was auditioning for commercials before the age of seven. She joined the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly following and then went to the Professional Children's School, Manhattan for further training. In the Off-Broadway play Sophistry she acted alongside Ethan Hawke. She then had her first appearance in a film on screen in North (1994) which was produced by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson made her debut in Just Cause (1996), however the film Manny & Lo 1996 that gave her her breakthrough. The film is about two young girls that are running away. The Horse Whisperer (2000) where she was an teen with a defect because of an accident earned her critical acclaim. Then in Ghost World 2001 (as the young, sarcastic teenager Rebecca) Johansson received even more recognition. She is best known for her role as Nell Jones from the CBS popular show NCIS Los Angeles. She is one of its major characters. She's also an accomplished stage performer. Renee Felice Smith is well-known for her exceptional performance in plays such as Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith began her journey into the entertainment industry from a young age. While she was still a young child, Smith became interested in the field of acting. Smith was offered the first of her acting gigs in the age of 6. She was a part of a television commercial for Dannon yogurt. In the same way as many young actresses she began her stage career. While working on different projects in the USA she also had her theatrical debut in Wildflower. She was educated at The Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
